Mafaati strives to provide a seamless and satisfying food delivery experience for all our customers in Delhi. However, we understand that situations may arise where a refund might be necessary. This policy outlines the circumstances under which Mafaati will issue a refund and the process for requesting one.
Circumstances for Refunds
- Order Cancellation:
- A full refund will be issued if you cancel your order before the restaurant starts preparing it.
- If you cancel your order after the restaurant has begun preparing it, a partial refund may be issued, excluding the restaurant commission.
- Order Not Delivered:
- A full refund will be issued if your order is not delivered within the estimated delivery timeframe and cannot be located.
- Incorrect Order:
- A full refund will be issued if you receive an incorrect order. You can either keep the incorrect item(s) and receive a refund for their value, or request a replacement order.
- Damaged Order:
- A full refund will be issued if your order arrives damaged or spoiled upon delivery. We may request photographic evidence of the damage.
Circumstances Where Refunds May Not Be Issued:
- Order cancellations made after the restaurant has begun preparing the food (partial refund only).
- Cancellations due to change of mind or ordering the wrong item(s).
- Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond Mafaati's control (e.g., extreme weather, traffic accidents).
- Complaints regarding portion size, taste, or quality of food as these are subjective and depend on restaurant preparation.
Requesting a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund under this policy, you can request one by following these steps:
- Login to your Mafaati account on the website or app.
- Go to your order history and select the order you wish to request a refund for.
- Click on "Request Refund" and provide a detailed explanation for your request.
- You can also attach photographic evidence if applicable (e.g., damaged order).
Our customer support team will review your request and respond within 24-48 hours. If your request is approved, the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method used for the order.
