Thank you for choosing Mafaati! We understand that there might be times when you need to cancel an order. This policy outlines the guidelines for order cancellations on Mafaati.com and our mobile app.

What Can Be Cancelled?

You can cancel an order before it gets confirmed by the restaurant. Once a restaurant confirms your order and starts preparing your food, cancellations might not be possible.

How to Cancel an Order

• Via Mafaati App:

  • Open the Mafaati app and navigate to your "Orders" section.
  • Locate the order you wish to cancel and tap "Cancel Order."
  • Briefly explain the reason for cancellation (optional).
  • Confirm your cancellation.

• Via Mafaati Website:

  • Log in to your Mafaati account on the website.
  • Go to your "Order History" section.
  • Find the order you want to cancel and click "Cancel Order."
  • You can optionally provide a reason for cancellation.
  • Confirm your cancellation.

Cancellation Timeline

• Orders cancelled within 10 minutes of placement: These cancellations will be processed immediately, and a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 3-5 business days.
• Orders cancelled after 10 minutes but before restaurant confirmation: Mafaati will attempt to contact the restaurant to inform them of the cancellation. If the restaurant hasn't started preparing the food, you will receive a full refund within 3-5 business days. However, if the restaurant has already begun preparing your order, a partial refund may be offered at Mafaati's discretion.

Non-Refundable Scenarios

• Orders cannot be cancelled once the restaurant has confirmed them and begun preparing the food.
• Cancellations due to reasons beyond Mafaati's control, such as restaurant closure or unavailability of specific items,will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
